Bringing businesses together for a sale event is not only good for business but it’s also good for customers according to Stawellbiz president Chris Waack.
The Mid Year Super Sale, set to take place on Friday June 16, will see businesses across Stawell and Ararat combine to offer great deals.
“It’s great to have promotions in town that involve retailers,” Mr Waack said.
“It gives them an opportunity to increase sales and shoppers an opportunity to pick up bargains.”
This sale event is organised by The Stawell Times-News and The Ararat Advertiser and sponsored by Stawellbiz.
“It generates a lot of sales in the main street,” Mr Waack said.
“We have a great business community a lot of people work together which is great for promotions and sales.”

Stawellbiz support businesses in town in any capacity they can from issues with council to lobbying for changes on a federal government level.
“We’re here to support businesses,” Mr Waack said.
“It’s very important that businesses work together and learn off one another and support one another. Organisations like Stawellbiz are a great way for that to happen.”
“Once a month we run a networking night where all businesses are welcome to come along, members or not, and talk to each other.
“We can all learn from one another.”
Dates of future networking nights will be advertised in The Stawell Times-News.
