We are still a really young side and are improving week by week.
- Kelly Cosson
The Warriors sit at the bottom of the Wimmera Netball Association table.
Their first win was within touching distance last weekend, as they went down to Dimboola by two goals.
Stawell coach Kelly Cosson said her team needs to be more consistent.
“We need to play four quarters of netball,” she said.
“We can’t let sides get away from us.”
The Burras have the best defensive record in the competition, conceding an average of only 32 goals per game.
Cosson said she has seen her side get much better every week.
“We are still a really young side and they are improving week by week,” she said.
“We are working very hard so it would be nice to be rewarded for our effort.”
Stawell will travel to the Murtoa Recreation reserve for the A Grade clash .
