Holding a commanding lead going into the final round, Coffey was too good for the rest of the competition, with 25 shots separating him from David Hunter and Richard Hackwill who tied for second place in the scratch standings.
Coffey said it was great to claim his third championship in a row.
“It is always an honour to win the club championship,” he said.
Coffey continued his success on Sunday, where his team won the division two VGA senior pennant in Melbourne.
It was Coffey’s first senior pennant win as well as being named best pennant player for his team.
In Stawell, Hunter was able to hold on for the A Grade handicap win, edging Coffey out by two shots.
Bryan Iseppi claimed the B Grade championship, after nearly letting go of a big lead going into the final round.
Iseppi was five shots in front of Michael Kelly entering the last round, where he shot his worst score of the championships.
However Kelly’s round of 84 was not good enough to beat Iseppi, as he finished three shots clear.
Kelly’s handicap of 13 helped him claim the B Grade handicap title, six shots clear of Iseppi.
The C Grade championship was less intense, as Frank Kuypers came away to claim a 10 shot victory.
Rob Blachford finished in second place with the best score of the round for C Grade.
Kuypers also took out the C Grade handicap title, beating Kyle Dignan on a countback after both players finished on 220.
