Wimmera players in the round two side include Thomas Berry of Horsham Saints, Matty Lloyd of Horsham Demons, Jackson Taurau of Stawell Warriors, Paddy Turner of Ararat and Charlie Wilson of Warrack. 

A similar line-up will run onto the oval in the round two contest with coach Gerard Fitzgerald’s main aim being improvement. 

“We make sure that there is a clear vision within the whole squad so that all the boys are aware what they will be working on each week,” he said. “First we recognise what it is we have done wrong with this week being stoppages in defence and kick-ins. Second we will find a solution and improve that area of our game.” 

Fitzgerald said regardless of the opposition, all he wanted was improvement. 

“At this level of footy, everyone is a chance to compete,” he said.
