The association has suffered with only a handful of umpires being used currently.
Association president Dave Turner said he is particularly targeting retired players who take up the role.
“Retired players know all the rules and it is a great way to stay involved in the game while being paid for it,” he said.
Turner said finals had to be played without professional adjudication.
"At the moment we only have four regular umpires in the association,” he said.
“As a consequence of that, we had to play the C Grade Grand Finals without umpires.”
The association is also putting a call out for people interested in joining the executive board.
Turner said the main priority to fill the senior representative coordinator position. For more information, call 0417 501 729.
