Selleys tried all it could to fill in the missing spaces during Wednesday night’s tennis competition, but Dulux weathered the storm to take bragging rights.

After an early round, crumble Dulux had to fight to get themselves back into the match.

Logan Dean and Kayla Mae Hylsop got the ball rolling and the rest of the team followed suit.

Jaxon Turner also had a stand-out night.

In the final set of the night, Dean and Turner held their nerves to defeat Tania Dean and Anthony Body.

The set proved to be the difference as the score was 6-1 and Dulux claimed the victory by just four games.

The mixed tennis competition continued to be tight across the board with the match between Meyer Timber and Bremick separated by just one game.

Tania Dignan and Martin O’Donnell won 6-4 in the final set to claim victory.

On Wednesday night, Selleys will play Mitre 10 and Meyer Timber will meet Dulux.
