Mr Chinn was a Catholic singer and teacher who travelled to schools around the world.
Bonnie Mellor said she was very nervous ahead of the event on October 29 last year, but rated the accomplishment as her finest so far.
“It was so much fun and I loved the recording,” she said.
“My teacher Miss Bonnie gave me a gift with a bubble mix which I blew in the hotel before we went to Andrew Chinn’s recording.
“Singing is something I want to do, I have just got the role of Annie in the HAC production of Annie where I will sing 10 songs and act.
The recording was released on CD and will be available on iTunes.
