Stawell Toyota led by one solitary game after the main doubles sets and then added to their lead by winning the first mixed doubles set 8-3.

It was then that Mitre 10 decided enough was enough, as they took out the remaining three sets 8-3, 8-4, and 8-2 to take the premiership points.

In the night’s other match the game played out as expected with Frewstal defeating Crowe Horwath by 18 games.

Frewstal held an 18-game margin after the main doubles matches and this proved to be the difference as the mixed sets went two sets a piece with the games total being even also.

The 18-game margin remained and become the final result which saw Frewstal take the points.

Frewstal captain Nathan Baker led from the front winning all three of his sets against Shane Armer.
