B grade will have a new look competition this week as the C grade teams make their debut in the higher division of the Grampians Cricket Association.

Halls Gap and Willaura will field teams in the B grade competition after the C grade cricket competition was dissolved.

Halls Gap will take on Navarre.

Navarre have been one of the stronger teams in the competition, but they are coming off a narrow loss at the hands of Youth Club.

The match went down to the wire, before Youth Club sealed a victory on the final ball.

Navarre’s Aaron Slorach is the inform playing having hit 81 runs from 84 deliveries last week.

For Halls Gap Josh Reid will be the prized wicket if he has the opportunity to put the pads on.

Youth Club will look to continue its undefeated season as they take on Rhymney-Moyston.

Youth Club allrounder Jarrod Illig did his best last weekend to ensure his team got across the line.

He performed well with the bat and ball and will be hoping to continue that form this weekend.

Youth Club have been the team to beat but captain Cam Kimber knows they cant afford to become complacent.

Willaura will like their chances of upsetting Chalambar in its first B grade clash.

Willaura have dominated C grade and despite them not playing for competition points in B grade they will be hungry to win.

Swifts-Great Western will take on St Andrews.
