It was a strong effort by Lawn side, which has struggled to find consistent form and sits in fifth position on the ladder.
St Michael’s Nick Robertson dominated the court, winning all three of his rubbers.
The form team of the competition was on the back foot from the get-go as player unavailability saw St Michael’s forfeit three rubbers.
Kalkee consolidated a win at home in a tight match against Central Park.
The side still remains outside the top three teams on 16 points, but has proven it could be a top contender come finals.
It was a tight, competitive game for both sides, but Kalkee ultimately prevailed, 8-101 to 6-95.
Hayley Thomas was a standout for Kalkee, winning all three of her rubbers including the crucial final doubles match alongside Debbie Lawson.
Central Park has taken a hit in recent rounds, having previously sat in second spot, the side now sits in third position.
Drung South managed a comfortable 12-116 to 2-53 win against bottom of the ladder Horsham Lawn Savage. Drung South’s Janelle Knight, Dylan Emmerson and Ben Argent were crucial to the win, claiming all three of their rubbers.

NATIMUK came close to victory but just one point put a stop to the side against top team Brimpaen.
The 7-91 to 7-90 finish was a disappointing result for Natimuk but is proof the side has the ability to challenge in competitive games.
Drung South claimed a 7-102 to 7-96 win against Haven while St Michael’s lost in a forfeit to Telangatuk East.
Central Park had a close 8-87 to 6-82 win against Homers.
A GRADE
LARGE margin wins dominated the A Grade division with Horsham Lawn Tennis Club’s 7-84 to 5-77 win against Haven the only tight match. Quantong defeated Noradjuha 10-102 to 2-59.
Laharum secured a 11-103 to 1-35 win against Kalkee.
Brimpaen knocked over Central Park 7-77 to 5-69.
B SPECIAL
DRUNG South defeated Natimuk 9-96 to 3-61 while Horsham Lawn dominated in a 12-108 to 0-33 victory against Haven Green.
Laharum finished with a 11-106 to 1-47 win against Haven Black.
