POLICE investigators have formally identified a body found at Nhill on Wednesday as missing woman Margaret McKenzie.
A Victoria police spokeswoman said investigators had not yet determined a cause of death.
UPDATE Wednesday 6.38pm:
A BODY located at a property near Nhill on Wednesday afternoon is likely that of missing woman Margaret McKenzie.
The body was located just after 2pm near Janetzkis Road.
A Victoria Police statement said the deceased has yet to be formally identified but is believed to be missing woman Margaret McKenzie.
Ms Mckenzie last seen at 5am on Wednesday and was reported missing later that morning.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.

EARLIER
A WOMAN has died from a suspected drowning in the Nhill area.
Nhill police responded to the incident at about 2pm on Wednesday afternoon.
A Victoria Police spokeswoman said a woman, as yet unidentified, had died and police would prepare a report for the coroner.
The spokeswoman said at this stage the death is not being treated as suspicious.
Police have not released the location or circumstances surrounding the death because next of kin have yet to be notified.
