The Gappers are in a commanding position with 212 runs on board.
Buangor have faced just 19 overs however they are already two wickets down for 41.
Zac Chisholm bowled three overs towards the end of the innings last week and claimed the wicket of Charlie Dyer.
Dylan O’Neil was the other wicket taker however he was expensive.
Jacob Bates and Lachie Oddie will resume at the crease on Saturday.
Oddie has been the inform batsmen for Buangor and will be required to make a big score.
Halls Gap captain Sean Mantell will be hoping he can take some early wickets to spur his team to victory.
Mantell has already bowled five overs which saw two maidens and just nine runs conceded.
