ARARAT police have said they are still trying to make contact with missing man Leighton Moana.
Sergeant Matthew Cashman said there had been sightings of Mr Moana but he was still officially missing as police had not been in contact.

POLICE have appealed for help to locate missing Ararat man Leighton Moana.
Officers have been told Leighton was involved in a physical altercation with a number of other people in McNeill Street, Ararat, about 7.50pm on Tuesday.
Investigators have attempted to locate Leighton and to check on his welfare but have been unsuccessful.
Police and family have concerns for Leighton and have released an image of him in the hope that someone can supply information on his whereabouts.
Ararat police urged anyone with information on Leighton’s current whereabouts to call them on 5355 1500.
