The Australian actor, who is not usually one for reacting to tabloids, took to his Instagram on Monday to respond to a Woman's Day article questioning if the pair would be "Hollywood's next big split?" The publication also reported that the parents-of-three were "living apart" and that "their relationship [is] on the rocks."
Hemsworth, 33, captioned a picture of him and Pataky, 40: "Looking for a new wife according to Woman's Day and other misleading outlets! Honey you still love me right?!" He also added the hashtag: "Thanks for the heads up."
The Spanish actress added another shot of the pair cuddling with their dog: "Always and forever!"
The magazine published an unnamed "close friend" as saying: "They've decided they need space, and they've been taking a little break from each other.
"Hopefully it will be a case of absence makes the heart grow fonder, but they definitely appear to have some issues that need to be sorted out. It has raised a few eyebrows among their friends."
The Thor star and the Madrid-native live together with their three children - India, four, and two-year-old twins Tristan and Sasha - in Byron Bay on the NSW North Coast.
