Stawell Secondary studio arts teacher Millie Francis said the gallery presented a valuable opportunity for the participating students.
“This exhibition is integral to the students learning, assisting in their understanding of different art industry contexts and how artworks are presented and conserved,” Ms Francis said.
“It has been the highlight of the year and a great way to celebrate the culmination of the VCE students journey."
Student and Senior Arts and Technology Exhibition winner Sam McNeill described the accolade as a confidence booster heading into tertiary study.
“It gives me great knowledge and skills to further my education in VCE and leading to University to succeed in an Arts career for the future,” Ms McNeill said.
“The atmosphere of my artworks in an art gallery for the first time was amazing.”
