Ararat VRI recorded a dominant 51-shot win against Landsborough in round two of Grampians Division Bowls on Saturday.

Landsborough suffered the heavy defeat in its first season back in division one competition.

Aradale defeated Stawell with a tight four shot Margin.

Stawell Golf Red got their nose in front at the right time for the second consecutive week to win by three shots.

Aradale Blue struggled against the highly ranked Chalambar in a 60-shot loss.

Lake Bolac it is going to be a top chance this year when it defeated the second Stawell Golf team by 65 shots.

Stawell Golf defeated Ararat Gold by one shot in the closest division two match for the round.

In other games, Ararat VRI was too strong at home against Lake Bolac White and claimed a win by 14 shots.

An undermanned Chalambar failed to win a rink against Ararat Blue and finished 28 shots off the pace in a heavy round two loss.

Ararat Green were never in the hunt when they faced Ararat VRI Red and lost by 32 shots.

Stawell Blue defeated Lake Bolac Red on their home green to win by 14 shots.

Willaura enjoyed a week off courtesy of being fixtured a bye.
