STAWELL - The Stawell Performing Arts Company's production of 'A Grand Night for Singing' will open next Friday at the Stawell Entertainment Centre and with its inclusion of some the best Rodger's and Hammerstein songs around, looks at romance from all aspects.

Directed by Cheryl Stacpool with musical direction by Maree Fraser, this musical review explores the broad spectrum of romantic relationships by way of more than 30 songs.
"We really hope our audiences will enjoy the story which looks at the complexities of love, with all its hope and dreams," Cheryl said.
"The show is tied together with great Rodgers and Hammerstein songs and is very intriguing.
"The way the show has been put together with the songs is quite beautiful."
The small cast features Steve West as Martin, Dianne Stewart (Ja-San Trimble for the final performance) as Lynne, Maree Fraser as Victoria, Tracey Huson as Jason and Sue Horvath as Alyson.
The chorus features Deb Slorach, Nakara Elliott, Pam Piccoli, Naomi Altmann, Carl Foreshaw, James Hartwich and Bill Dempsey.
