Gary Cooper claimed the event with a score of 87.13.74 ahead of runner-up Ken Mahney 88.13.75.
Copper also claimed the nearest the pin for his efforts on the eighth hole.
Sunday Ararat Hotel Monthly Medal
Marcus Matthews won the Sunday monthly medal with 83.13.70.
Runner-up Gary Sherwell was close behind on 79.7.72
Nearest the pin awards went to Sherwell when he doubled up on the eighth and ninth holes.
Next weeks events will be a Saturday Stroke event with tee off at noon.
Sunday October 2 is the first round of the club championship with a noon start scheduled.
Sunday also marks the start of our $75 summer membership.
