Navarre have been one of the stronger teams all season and while its victory in the preliminary was convincing, they will be up against it when they meet Trentham in the grand final.
Last week saw Navarre take on Natte Bealiba for a berth in the grand final.
In what was expected to be a close affair, Navarre got off to a dominant start.
Its attacking game was strong with the feeding into the goals as good as it has been all season long.
The goalies were shooting well to convert which allowed Navarre to open up a 10 goal lead at quarter time.
Navarre’s defense was tight all over the court and pressure over the opposition shots proved influential.
Caitlyn Murphy and Taylor Mason provided multiple turnover opportunities and were able to repel Natte Bealiba’s attack.
By three quarter time Navarre had well and truly put their oppositions chances to bed, leading 42-21.
Navarre were able to give all team members court time, displaying just how much depth of talent there is within this group of players.
Grasshoppers had a spring in its step and never looked like losing, as they secured a grand final spot with a 26 goal win.
The final score was 54-28.
On Saturday Navarre will take on Trentham whom defeated them in round five of the home and away season by six goals.
It was arguably the best display of netball for the season.
Navarre will need to maintain its finals form if they want to topple the opposition.
If they are to win on Saturday they will go down as one of the best teams in the history of the club.
A win will mean a fourth consecutive premiership to the Grasshoppers.
Navarre will take the court at Princes Park Maryborough from 2.45pm.
