Dignan will be supported by some of the current committee members.
Training for new and old members will commence of Tuesday September 13. Primary school aged students will train from 5.50 pm -7.00 pm and secondary school aged 6.50 pm-8.00 pm.
New swimmers are welcome to attend three come and try sessions before committing to the season, however they need to be able to swim two laps of the outdoor pool of two recognised strokes.
Stawell Stingrays are part of District 12 with swimmers competed against clubs including Ararat, Horsham, Warracknabeal, St Arnuad and Donald.
The season starts mid November.
Often members continue swimming after the season has finished representing their schools at the various stages of school swimming. Swim club are keen to see previous swimmers returning to the pool
