Residents and staff worked hard in preparation for the Olympic Games festival at the village.
Staff put on the day to give the residents a fun way to enjoy the start of the Olympics.
They decked Glyn Cashin Hall in all things Rio such as bright streamers, famous landmarks, birds and feathers.
The afternoon commenced with Eventide staff and Stawell entertainers making a grand entrance.
The colourful carnival-style ceremony kicked off an exciting afternoon for residents.
Ararat Primary School’s Bamboozle Circus Acts kept the audience entertained with a variety of circus performances.
It was followed by a performance from talented Stawell gymnasts.
The dance wrapped up with an exhilarating Zumba class led by instructors from Giovanna and Co.
Their routine got the staff and residents moving to the beat.
