It is a requirement for all residential aged care facilities to demonstrate how they comply with the 44 outcomes of the Accreditation Standards. Eventide Homes was found to be compliant in all outcomes.
The accreditation process involves a two-day visit by quality assessors form the Aged Care Quality Agency. Their purpose is to monitor compliance with the accreditation standards.
Monitoring is undertaken by reviewing documentation and interviewing staff, residents and their relatives and volunteers.
A very positive result was achieved showing excellent progress. Accreditation has been awarded for three years until August 2019.
Eventide Homes staff and management are committed to continually improving the service to their residents.
Chief Executive Officer Sue Blakey is thrilled with the positive findings from the assessment team and would like to congratulate Corporate Services Manager, Joanne Cross, and Residential Services Manager, Carole Heath.
Their teams have shown great dedication and commitment to providing high quality care to our residents, and presenting the facility in such a positive way.
