He discussed his career, as well as the change of scenery he has experienced in the past year since moving to Stawell.
The club also ventured to Ballarat in July for their annual Christmas in July lunch.
The group enjoyed a meal followed by carols with Gayle Heart.
On the return trip home they called in to the Imperial Egg Gallery in Beaufort where they had a history lesson about the eggs.
The group visited the Marilyn Monroe exhibition at the Bendigo Art Gallery in late June to get a better appreciation of the life Monroe led.
The size of the Bendigo Buddhist Stupa also left quite an impression on club members after they visited.
