The win keeps their hopes alive of finishing the season on top of the ladder.
The Magpies kicked four goals in the first quarter, kicking with a strong breeze.
Wickliffe-Lake Bolac were able to get the ball in to open space with ease.
Joe Otto and Rhys Otto both finished with three goals each for the Magpies.
Bailey Veale was the only other multiple goalscorer for the Magpies with two.
Brent Bulger was a shining light for the Eagles, finishing with two goals.
Tulloch Maxwell and Zac Jenkins also contributed a goal each to the tally.
Thomas Gibson and Nigel Otto both showed their class across the field for the visitors.
Otto provided good decision making in the back half which lead to multiple scoring opportunities.
Magpies coach Joe Otto said the Eagles more than held their own, and challenged them at times throughout the game.
“They played well, they were hard at the ball all day,” he said.
Otto also said that while it was good to get the four points, there was still things the side needed to work on leading into the finals.
"There is still plenty of improvement to come from a lot of players in the team," he said.
"We have just got to tidy up our skills, provide more run for each other and work harder."
There was no emotional let-down from the Eagles side this week after their win last week.
They remained competitive despite the limited chances up forward.
Eagles' coach Brian Jenkins said he was proud of the team’s performance but that it was a good learning experience.
"They played the game out, against the side that is second on the ladder," he said.
"They continued to give everything they had.
"I thought the conditions of the game meant it was always going to be a bit of a slogfest.”
The accountability of the Eagles has been a work in progress in 2016 so far and Jenkins said that it was something they were continuing to work on.
"Our accountability has been a bit of a problem for most of the year, we were a little slow to match up today," he said.
"We've got to be prepared to be two-way runners, but that will come.
"Especially good sides, you can't give them space to work with, so we need to get better at that.
"We have to be really good at the little things like tackling and keeping our feet to give ourselves a chance.”
