Larelle Souter and Trent Shiells were named as Club Champions for Horsham Angling Club’s 2015/2016 season on Sunday.

Souter finished the season-long points based competition more than 30 points clear of her rivals.
Trent finished as junior champion for the second season running.
He held a comfortable 50 point lead in the standings.
Shane Shiells from the club said membership numbers were up this season.
“I saw plenty of new faces I hadn’t seen before,” he said.
“I’m hopeful they will all be back bigger and better next season.”
Shane said it had been a good season for the club.
The Len Grubb memorial was taken out by Leon Egan.
The Delaney family day was claimed by Grant Kemp.
The Vin Fitzgerald memorial was won by Adam Hinch.
The twilight competition winners were Jake Waterfield, Curtis Vanstan and Nicholas Shiells. Alastair Vanstan won the catfish competition.
Kelvin Robinson was the winner of the Murray River competition.
The Hynes family trophy was taken home by Peter Scott. Nathan Budde took out the Bill Johnson Shield.
The club takes time off before the new season in September. Its AGM is 7pm on Friday at the clubhouse.
