Swifts B Grade lost to Natimuk 52-14.
Losses were few and far between, but it was a very tough day for the girls in B Grade.
Swifts were up against top of the ladder Natimuk.
Jayme-Lee Russell worked hard in defence and tried a few new things with some success.
Russell was best on court followed by Tara Long who Swifts welcomed back to the side.
In C Grade Swifts defeated Natimuk 33-29.
Swifts fought hard all game and were rewarded with the win.
Simone Bullock and Jade Bird were the two best players.
Swifts defeated Natimuk 37-33 in C Reserves.
C Reserves battled hard, leading at every quarter, to come home with a four-goal win.
In what was a great team effort coaches struggled to find a best.
Hannah Bird and Nerelle Sandy were the eventual recipients.
In the under-17 match Swifts defeated Natimuk 26-14. The game was extremely close until the third quarter when Swifts ran away with the win.
Awards went to Olivia Kilpatrick, Molly Nicholls and Makyla Rowe.
Swifts defeated Natimuk’s under-17 team 20-14. Swifts started slowly but the players all worked hard and came away with a good win.
Georgie Anderson was best on court followed by Drew Smith and Hannah Blight.
In the under 13s Swifts recorded its second loss for the day going down 27-8.
Swifts started well but couldn’t keep the pressure on.
Jess Enriquez was best on court followed by Nadia Martin and Jessica Meyer.
Swifts will be seeking wins across the board when the club takes on Noradjuha-Quantong this weekend.
