But the inclement weather afflicting the region this week did not dampen the spirits of a creative bunch of Stawell children.
Instead of moping around the house waiting for the rain to stop, they rugged up and headed to the Stawell Library.
On Wednesday, the library held an arts and crafts session designed to get children thinking about the wealth of natural materials surrounding them at any given time.

The Wimmera Regional Library Corporation is holding activity days throughout its network during the school holidays. The next installment in Stawell will be a stained glass art class on Wednesday, July 6 at 10.30am.
