A countback was required to separate the winners, with part-timer Peter Brady teaming with Bill Bibby to take the spoils from Tad McKinnis and John Pola.
Others to score well were Phil Hall and Rob Webb, John Berg and David Haddow, Steve O’Connell and Jim Brennan.
Nearest the pins went to Jim Brennan (2nd), Stuart Muller (6th), Gavin Vearing (8th) and Richard Taylor (16th). No one hit the 18th green with their tee shot, but Bill Bibby chipped in for a birdie to win the prize.
Reigning club champion Michael Harricks won the 15th hole second shot NTP with a fine eagle on the par four hole.
Mat Humphries and Adam Tribe again won prizes in Thursday’s chicken run but scores were nothing to write home about.
