Teacher Ben Tait said the performers taught about 670 students important lessons.
“Humour is great for students,” he said.
“A little silliness shows how education and learning can be fun. Laughing and smiling can be very important in terms of mental health and well being.”
Mr Tait said the performance was a part of a wider plan to have children learn outside the classroom.
“Across the year we provide students with what we call cultural performances,” Mr Tait said.
“Quite often the curriculum is fairly packed and busy with academic work so to allow students opportunity for more artistic experience is very worthwhile.”
