Western Highway crash near Beaufort

A Stawell woman, 24, was travelling on the Western Highway on Wednesday morning.
Ararat Sergeant Philip Messer said the woman was west of Beaufort near Ferntree Gully Road when she swerved to avoid an animal on the road.
She hit the highway barrier.
Westbound traffic was blocked while crews cleaned the scene.
There were no injuries from the incident.
Country Fire Authority members also responded as a precaution.
