The Kees defeated Harrow-Balmoral by one point in round six, while the Saints managed a 98-point win against Noradjuha-Quantong.
Kalkee is fourth on the ladder, with Edenhope-Apsley alarmingly close behind in fifth and both clubs on 16 points.
Kalkee coach Steve Schultz said he expects it to be a dangerous game.
“Edenhope-Apsley have had some up and down results for the year,” he said.
“But the last few weeks have shown they’re a really good side, we just can’t be too tentative.”
Schultz said his side is feeling upbeat after their tight round six win.
“We played a good style that we were after,” he said.
“The week off has done us good too, everyone has some niggles at this time of the year and needs a rest.
“”We just have to be wary of getting a bit cruisy.”
Time Wade remains missing from the Kalkee side following his round three concussion while Adam Carter is out with a calf injury.
Saints coach Michael Rowe said Kalkee is a competitive team that will always provide a tough challenge.
“We are feeling excited for the challenge, it will be a good measure for us,” he said.
The Saints have been working hard on their structure and ball movement in training this week.
“We are also working on being competitive with our tackling and our pressure against the opposition each week,” Rowe said.
“We are firing and ready to go.”
Schultz said the Kees strength across the board will act as a weapon against the Saints.
“We’re not a side that has stars in our team we just work well across the board and put on a great deal of pressure,” he said.
“I think it makes us a hard match up, we’ve got a broad range of goal kickers.
“When one player is down the other blokes chip in and work.”
Schultz said he is wary of the Saints’ speedy on-ballers, but thinks the Kees still have a good chance to win.
“Their top few players are as good as any in the league, there’s many damaging guys to be careful of,” he said.
Rowe said the week off has given some of his players a chance to get over some niggles but is wary of several other players facing unconfirmed injuries ahead of Saturday’s game.
Despite potential injuries weighing the Saints down, the side will also welcome Taylor Milner back to the field against the Kees.
Milner is a key player who has only played one game for the 2016 season, but was awarded the sides best and fairest in 2015.
