The Southern Mallee Giants are unbeaten with 24 points, while Noradjuha-Quantong sits on four points in 10th position.
Giants coach Geoff Burdett said his players were taking the game seriously, despite the team’s undefeated streak.
“It’s another important game to us as and we are starting to look to the next three solid games too,” he said.
The Giants are looking good injury-wise.
Kain Robins and Liam Price are bruised and battered but Burdett is confident both will be playing on Saturday.
Sam Weddell is expected to bring his all against his old side Noradjuha-Quantong after a strong interleague performance last week.
“Sam’s form has been fantastic this year. Being an old Bombers boy I’m sure he will do well against them,” Burdett said.
Lou White is an emerging Giants young-gun and another to watch this weekend.
Bombers coach Heath Francis said morale was high and his side would put up a good fight.
The Bombers are expecting the return of senior players David Elliott and Luke McCallum.
Nicholas Jenner will be missing from the side due to a hand injury.
Francis will look to Todd Klemm in the ruck for inspiration this week.
“We expect him to have another big game and give our guys first go at the ball,” he said.
