Tayors Lake coach Daryl Eastwell said Rupanyup could present a challenge given the side’s progression throughout the season to date.
Cullen Williams is out with a hamstring injury for this week.
Eastwell will look to experienced heads Deek Roberts and Patrick Purcell for leadership on Saturday.
New recruit Charles Pennant is one to watch.
“Those are the players that will set us on fire,” Eastwell said.
Rupanyup has had a bad run with injuries this season and hopes to face the Lakers with a few more players.
Coach Scott Finnigan doesn’t want his players to get ahead of themselves after the side’s last round win.
“We need to keep our defensive pressure in the forward and backline, that and being tight in the midfield will be our emphasis,” he said.
