Show producer Luke Mitton said the council hosted an information session about the show on Sunday.
“We had a really encouraging turn out for the information evening,” he said.
“There was a lot of familiar faces but also some new faces, which we were very happy about.”
Mr Mitton said the council already had about 20 people booked in for auditions.
“However, there are still a lot more places available,” he said.
The show will take on about 35 to 40 cast members.
“Auditions will be Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 5pm to 9pm at Horsham Arts Council House,” Mr Mitton said.
“We are looking for people with a variety of disciples including singing, dancing and acting.”
Mr Mitton said there was also a lot of behind the scene roles as well.
“So if people want to be involved but are not confident about being on stage, they can help out with other things including building sets and props, hair and make-up, costumes, backstage crew and front of house,” he said.
Mr Mitton said anyone interested in auditioning for the show, of helping out backstage could call him on 0418 621 730.
