The amount raised on the night was $4151. The Auxiliary wishes to thank the following for their generous donations: The Gift Hotel, Pat Reid, Woolworths, Best's Winery, Seppelts Great Western, Kimbarra Wines, Montara Winery and Terry Monaghan for conducting the auction.
Raffle prize winners of hampers, donated by Auxiliary members were Frank Lovelace, Colin Konig and Suzanne Rivera.
The Auxiliary's constitution states in its Mission Statement that 'The primary aim of the organisation shall be: (a) to promote the welfare of Stawell Regional Health (b) to assist Board of Management in providing necessary supplies and equipment to assist hospital patients and Nursing Home residents as far a practicable with Board approval.'
The Auxiliary has decided, in consultation with hospital management to purchase the following: One Paediatric Emergency Cart $2400, three Pressure Care Cushions at $395 each and one Palliative Care Chair $2761.
