The existing ladies toilets on Victoria Street will be renovated.
The outdated toilet block behind the scoreboard and the toilets between the football clubrooms and the Hank Neil Grandstand will be demolished.
The Victoria Street toilets will be closed to the public as works take place.
Alternate toilets will be available under the Hank Neil Grandstand during this time.
Works are set to begin early in May and are expected to be completed within four months.
COUNCIL is set to appoint an acting chief executive officer.
The role of chief executive will likely be filled by council directors Vaughan Williams (May 14 to July 10), Sanjay Manivasagasivam (July 11 to September 4) and Michael Bailey (September 5 onwards) until the role is filled.
The matter was due to be discussed at last night’s monthly meeting.
