The Saints barely broke a sweat in the 82-point win, which also saw the side take seventh spot on the ladder.
Rupanyup coach Scott Finnigan said his side’s start to the game had cost the team victory.
“The start of the game hurt us for sure,” he said.
“We managed to hold them a bit more in the second half, but it’s difficult when the damage has already been done.
“We didn’t kick to the advantage of our forwards, and they had a few good talls that made the turnovers count.”
In spite of the heavy defeat, the Panthers were well served by Paul Trotter, Jordan May and Daniel Garner.
For the Saints, George Walker booted a game-high four majors, while Addison Milner contributed two of his own. Milner, Tristan Mason and Christopher Oliver were among the best performers for the Saints.
