YOU are never too young to be entranced by good food.
This year’s Grampians Grape Escape has scheduled a huge line-up of thrills for the tastebuds, designed to delight all age groups on April 30 and May 1.
For families and foodies, the quirky ‘edible adventurer’ Alice in Frames will entertain across the whole weekend through fun and lively cooking demonstrations, tale telling and sharing her passion for healthy meal creations.
Her energetic and enthusiastic cooking will cultivate curiosity and inspire kids to set off on their own taste explorations.
Alice in Frames is joining headline chef Miguel Maestre, who will be entertaining crowds by cooking up a storm using fresh local ingredients over both days.
Local chefs will also be holding master classes showcasing their talents and produce and local vintners will share their knowledge of wine appreciation.

More than 100 provedores and local producers, as well as beer, wine and cider artisans will be sampling their goods, offering something to suit every age and palate.
Little foodies can meet the residents of Halls Gap Zoo plus hang out, play and dance in the belly of Nylon Zoo’s magical giant salmon.
They will love clown Professor Prefosser’s all-day kids’ activities including face painting, magic sand, play dough and sing-alongs, while everyone can try their feet at traditional grape stomping.
Wine lovers can bid on the best shiraz from the Grampians region at the fiercely contested Barrique Auction, the only opportunity to purchase a renowned blend that represents the annual vintage.
This year’s festival expects to draw more than 10,000 foodies to indulge in the offerings available.
For 25 years during autumn, wine enthusiasts and connoisseurs from around the country have flocked to Halls Gap in the heart of the beautiful Grampians National Park to attend the Grampians Grape Escape Wine and Food Festival.
