The 2016 Newmarket Gold Fashions on the Field will once again give ladies and gentlemen the opportunity to showcase their latest autumn carnival looks at Central Park this Easter Saturday.

Since 2003, Ladies Day has played a prominent role at the Stawell Gift carnival, including a glamorous outdoor fashion parade, activities, prizes and entertainment, followed by the Woolworths Stawell Gift women’s and men’s heats.
This year, the winner of the 2016 Newmarket Gold Fashions on the Field will be presented with $1000.
Two runners-up will receive Maui Jim sunglasses. Maui Jim was established in 1980 is inspired by the beauty and culture of Maui, providing more vibrant colours of the world while protecting your eyes from the harsh effects of glare and harmful rays.
The fashions winner will also receive a sash in memory of elite sprinter, Billie Jo Petersen.
Entrants in the fashions are judged on elegance, exceptional style and classic carnival race wear.
The first 200 ladies to enter Central Park will receive a complimentary glass of Sparkling, courtesy of Grampians Estate.

The Newmarket Gold Fashions on the Field will be held on March 26, followed by the Woolworths Stawell Gift heats.
How to register: Participants must register at the Woolworths Stawell Gift Fashions on the Field marquee on Easter Saturday at Central Park, Stawell, from 12.30pm.
They will then strut their stuff in front of the judges at 3.30pm before heading out onto Central Park. The on-field parade commences from 4pm.
