Collingwood had their full squad in town however players Tyson Goldsack, Levi Greenwood and Jackson Ramsay were the three handpicked to visit the Eventide Homes.
The trio happily answered a variety of questions about football, training schedules, and their personal lives.
The residents took the opportunity to dress up in their favoured clubs colours for the day and the elation of having AFL players in town was evident on their faces.
Goldsack, Greenwood and Ramsay were hoping for a game of bingo on the visit, but unfortunately for them their visit was on a Tuesday, and were promptly informed by residents that Wednesday is bingo day.
Players entertained the crowd with their somewhat witty Q’s & A’s, before Tyson Goldsack wowed the audience with a rendition of ‘Chopsticks” on the piano.
The hours spent with the players lifted the spirits of many in Stawell.
