The Cues edged out Gift Shooters 8-7 while Nice Rack claimed a one-game victory against Gift.
Brix Bandits scored a win over Renegades 9-6 and Mighty Helpful brushed past Underdogs easily 11-4. Underdogs scored all four of their games in the opening round before Mighty Helpful dominated, with Damien Scott and Ian Walton leading the way.
