Staged in Knoxfield, Melbourne on Saturday, September 15, all the hard work and training put in by the Stawell contingient over the last few months paid off with some excellent results achieved.
Stawell TaeKwon-Do instructor, Corinne Leahy received first place in the women's special techniques, placed third in the Senior Women's sparring and competed extremely well in patterns.
William Carter won the Junior Sparring Competition, competed in patterns and achieved fourth place in special techniques. Koedy Briggs competed in patterns and sparring and performed very well, while Bridie Linley competed in patterns, also putting in a great effort.
The Stawell TaeKwon-Do Club trains each Tuesday and Thursday evening from 6.30pm at the Stawell Primary School Gymnasium. The club conducts classes for ages seven and above. Anyone above seven who is interested to come along and try is most welcome.
