General manager Troy Cole said the mine would undertake four events each year – two open community consultation events to discuss operational matters and two membership-based events.

“We welcome the community’s input into the recommended changes. SGM has decided this was the best proposal to move forward,” he said.

“This new structure will allow us to best engage with the community.”
