This time the triumph came against Crowe Howarth, as a dominant start paved the way for the 14-146 to 6-101 win.
The top side claimed five of the opening six rubbers and was never challenged from that point on.
Jade Cross, Zac Armer, Claire Monoghan and Kasey Mornane were the standouts for the winning side, while for Crowe Howarth, Andrew Dunn and Callum Rickard worked tirelessly.
They claimed two sets each for the losing side, including a strong 8-1 win against Shane Armer and Jesse Barber.
In the second match of the round, Farrer’s Tyrepower held tough for a close win against Frewstal.
The Tyepower side made a strong start to lead by 25 games on the eve of the mixed doubles rubbers, but Frewstal hit form to claim four-straight set wins to give itself a chance.
Frewstal had the taste of an unlikely upset off the back of the magical run, but its challenge was soon snuffed out by the Tyrepower team.
When Jake Stainsby and Tracy Dark put together an impressive 8-2 win against Ben Martin and Kerrie Troeth, the match swung back in Tyrpower’s favour.
Kim Hutton and Rod Summers claimed the final rubber of the night for Frewstal, but it was not enough to reel in the game margin, despite a promising mixed doubles performance.
The eventual final score was 10-124 to 10-109, with Stainsby and Riley Graveson shining for Tyrepower, while David Simpkin stood out for Frewstal, battling strongly to win three sets.
