The carpet that was removed from the library has been donated by the Northern Grampians Shire Council to the Salvation Army Co-operative and also the Stawell Gymnastic Club.

"Thanks also to Simon Jones from Mitre 10 and John Repper for the use of pallets and pallet trolleys which made the several relocations of the 20,000 library items somewhat easier.

"Thanks also to the Northern Grampians Shire workers who dropped in to assist and the Gifted Wombat with a donation of CD racks.

"I might add the Stawell Library staff did a great job to see the renovations completed," Kerry said.
