A further concert will also be held on Sunday as a matinee at the Stawell Entertainment Centre
Our qualified coaches are looking forward to showing the community what the college has achieved this year.
The concert will treat the families and friends of pupils to a showcase of all items the teams have learnt and performed throughout the year.
Three of the college teams have received pleasing results with placings at competitions this year at Warrnambool, Horsham and at the Victorian Calisthenic State titles division.
At Warrnambool the juniors excelled coming home with the aggregate win while the subbies and inters were among the award winners.
The subbies came third while the inters were the runner up overall.
The juniors and inters were the only teams eligible to compete at the state titles in Bendigo and the inters were the team to place as they finished third.
The Tinies group will be a highlight performing their Song & Action and Hoop routine and the Sub juniors performing their Calisthenic revue.
The Intermediate and Junior groups will each perform six items including Free Exercise, March, Aesthetics, Rods, Club and Calisthenic Revue.
Recognition will be given at the concert, including 5, 10 and 20 year service bars and awards in each group.
Extra awards on the night are the Grace Family Best Club Girl and the Jasper Family Musicality Award.
The concert will be held tonight at 7.00pm and Sunday afternoon at 1pm.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for school-aged children and are available at the door half hour before the concerts.
Light refreshments are available during the concerts interval and complimentary supper is provided at the completion of each of the concerts.
The College’s major raffle will be drawn on the Sunday.
Year 2016 enrolment forms to join Calisthenics will be available at the concerts or by contacting Colene Matthews on 5358 3461.
