Colyer won from Peter Davis who was a further five shots behind on nett 67.
After being tied with Peter and Robert Davis after two rounds, Colyer has taken a five shot lead into the final round.
Colyer is currently sitting on a score of 205 from his three rounds while Peter Davis is in the runner up position with a score of 210.
Nearest the pin winners were Bill Fitzell on the second hole and Kevin Fenwick on the 14th.
Best nine out went to Tom Cooper with 21 points and the best nine in was Fitzell with 22 points.
John Cathcart took home the walking stick.
The final round of the stroke championship will be played on Thursday.
