Horsham College’s annual Mega Music Day brings together students from schools across the Wimmera and beyond.
Horsham College, Stawell Secondary College and Nhill College year seven and eight students performed on the day.
Students from Phoenix P-12 Community College at Sebastopol in Ballarat also joined the action.
Students were involved in learning brass, woodwind, strings and percussion.
The day culminated with a concert in Horsham College’s main hall. It was the third time schools from each area had been involved, and the sixth time the college had hosted the event.
Students practised pieces in their lessons and their own time ahead of the music day. Saxophones, flutes, clarinets, trumpets and percussion were among the instruments involved.
