The match up will be important for both clubs as Swifts try to finish on and high and Kalkee prepares for the finals.
Swifts coach Paul Hanns knows his team will have its work cut out against the higher placed side.
“It will be a tough game,” Hanns said.
“We are still short on players and they have too many strong players across the board.”
Swifts will play close attention to Kalkee coach Steve Shultz and Josh Mibus while Kalkee will do its best to limit the amount of football Sean Mantell gets.
Mantel will possibly get the tag on Xavier Hobbs from the first bounce.
Swifts will welcome back Aaron Chavasse for his first game of the year which will help fill a hole in the team’s defence.
Kalkee will welcome back ruckman Tim Wade and midfielder Brendan McDonald.
Shultz is hoping McDonald can add to the midfield starch as the team looks to stop the run of the Swifts.
“They are a quick running team,” Shultz said.
“We need to negate that speed or it will cost us. Their results suggest they are up and down but they are still a good team.”
Both teams are expecting a close game and are looking forward to the match.
Swifts will have the advantage of playing on their home ground of North Park.
