Councillors voted in favour of approving the contract extension at its latest meeting.
Ms Linley, who has a strong focus on economic development and job creation, was appointed as the shire’s chief executive officer in 2010.
She has previously worked for the council and then for Regional Development Victoria before returning to take on the CEO position.
